M.S. Student in Biology, SUSTech

School of Medicine, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech)

I work at the intersection of DNA methylation, cancer epigenomics, and aging biology, with an interest in using machine learning to extract interpretable signals from multi-omics data.

Current Highlights

  • M.S. student in Biology at SUSTech School of Medicine.
  • First-author review on programmable 5mC and cancer understanding/intervention published in Oral Science and Homeostatic Medicine.
  • Research experience spanning DNA methylation data analysis, epigenomic workflows, and multi-omics interpretation.

Research Interests

  • DNA methylation and epigenetic regulation in disease
  • Aging biology and DNA methylation-based aging clocks
  • Tumor biology and cancer genomics
  • Epigenome editing and translational applications
  • Machine learning / deep learning for multi-omics analysis and biomarker discovery

Methods

I work primarily with Shell, R, and Python for genomic and epigenomic data analysis, including QC/preprocessing, WGBS workflows, statistical analysis, visualization, and model construction.
